Is a drone on your Christmas list this year? Black Friday is offering LOADS of drone deals this year through stores including DJI and B&H Photo Video. You’ll save $100 on the wildly popular DJI Spark, more than $100 on my favorite pick, the DJI Mavic Pro, and you could even walk away with free extras like batteries, memory cards, landing pads and more.
Here are some of the deals you need to know about, sorted by drone, and then broken down by where to buy it:
Black Friday drone deals: DJI Spark
The DJI Spark is DJI’s smallest drone and perhaps its smartest, able to lift off from the palm of your hand and make a decision of where to fly based on your body movements. The drone is so wildly popular, it was even named one of Time Magazine’s 25 Best Inventions of 2017. The drone typically retails for $499, but it’s way cheaper if you buy it on Black Friday.
Great for: Beginners, Students, Travelers, and People who love taking selfies and group photos.
The DJI Mavic Pro is still my favorite drone to-date, though it will cost you about twice as much as the DJI Spark. Luckily, Black Friday has come to the rescue. The Mavic Pro typically retails starting at $999.
Great for: Beginners, travelers, and photographers looking for a new perspective.
The Yuneec Typhoon H is an incredibly sturdy drone for prosumers and businesses alike. One of the best — and most noticeable — features about the Typhoon H compared to many drones is the 6 rotors, giving it a redundancy and making it a safe choice.
The Black Friday deal has already started on Amazon.
The GoPro Karma Quadcopter with HERO5 Black puts your GoPro camera in the air. When you’re done flying, you can use the camera and its gimbal to get that silky smooth video on the ground. The GoPro Karma drone typically retails starting at $1,099.
Great for: Action sports enthusiasts and people who have or want a GoPro
Buy the GoPro Karma drone from B&H Photo to save $200: B&H Photo is selling the Karma for just $899 — even ahead of Black Friday! PLUS, B&H does not charge sales tax outside of New York and New Jersey AND you’ll get free shipping.
Black Friday drone accessories: DJI Goggles
DJI Goggles put you in the cockpit of your drone, giving you that first person view of what your drone’s camera is seeing.
Great for: DJI drone users who want an HD FPV experience
The Yuneec Breeze is the cheapest drone you’ll find on the Black Friday deals list of drones, and it’s similar to the DJI Spark in a lot of ways, but without the gesture control. The Breeze typically retails for $399.
Great for: Budget drone enthusiasts who enjoy selfies
Buy the Yuneec Breeze from B&H Photo to save $70: B&H Photo is selling the Karma for just $329 — even ahead of Black Friday! PLUS, B&H does not charge sales tax outside of New York and New Jersey AND you’ll get free shipping.
Buy the Yuneec Breeze from Walmart and you’ll get it for an incredible 50% off! Walmart is selling the Breeze for just $199.
Black Friday deals on other DJI products: DJI Osmo Mobile and Osmo+
The DJI Osmo takes that smooth, silky look of a drone, and puts it on the ground. The Osmo Mobile is quite a bit cheaper than the Osmo+ because it uses your phone’s camera.
Great for: Independent filmmakers, families, and vloggers.
DJI’s Black Friday promotion begins at 12 a.m. EST on Nov. 23 — that’s Thanksgiving day — and ends at 2:59 a.m, EST on Nov. 28. The “direct through DJI” promotional prices are available on DJI’s website, at DJI Authorized Dealers and in all DJI Flagship Stores.

Great post and some lovely drone deals indeed around now. DJI Mavic is excellent but if you already have a GoPro camera then the Karma drone could be the job. The smaller Breeze and Spark are also nice choices especially as first drones.
The karma drone sucks, even the version 2 which just came out this year, probably one of the worst drones actually. It doesn’t stay in one place at all, at least they fixed the battery falling out problem they had lol … If anything, as a Christmas present I’d go with the DJI spark
