There’s no shortage of drone photo and video contests for those images of stunning landscapes and unique angles.

But what about those sweet FPV racing and freestyle videos? There’s a contest for those too.

Even better, the best FPV Video comes with an $1,000 prize.

AirVuz is hosting its first-ever 2017 AirVūz Drone Video Awards. AirVuz is a drone video site with a heavy emphasis on racing and FPV freestyle drone videos. 36,000 videos have been submitted and uploaded to the site between the time it launched in 2015 and Oct. 1.

The contest categories including Freestyle FPV, drone racing and Tiny Whoop. For those drone pilots who prefer scenic shots over racing, other categories include People, Cities, Landscape, Animals , Dronies (selfies taken with a drone), Sports, Originality, and Reels.

All videos uploaded to AirVuz.com between January 1, 2017 and December 15, 2017 (entries must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. EST) are eligible to win. The contest is open to anyone in the world who uploads an originally shot drone video on AirVuz.com.  AirVūz will award US$1,000 for the FPV (First-Person-View) Video of the Year and US$1,000 for the Drone Video of the Year. The Drone Photo of the Year will receive US$500.

Winners of the 2017 AirVūz Drone Video Awards will be announced on Monday, February 5, 2018
