DJI Mavic 3 sale: $150 off DJI’s priciest camera drone
There’s a lot to love about the DJI Mavic 3: the 45+ minutes of battery life. The wildly epic 28x hybrid zoom. The sense and avoid tech that makes this drone nearly crash-proof. But there’s one thing about the DJI Mavic 3 that’s incredibly tough to stomach: the price tag. So this should come as good news: there’s a DJI Mavic 3 sale going on right now.
Sales are rarely offered on the DJI Mavic 3, so this latest DJI Mavic 3 sale is especially great. Now through April 30, you can get instant savings of $150 off the DJI Mavic 3. That brings the usual $2,199 price tag to $2,049. No coupon codes or memberships needed. Just an automatic, 7% discount on one of DJI’s best drones.
The $2,049 deal is available at most major retailers, including Adorama, B&H Photo and Amazon.
Among the best parts of the DJI Mavic 3 drone:
1. A dual-camera system featuring Hasselblad: This professional-level, 4/3 CMOS Hasselblad camera uses a 24mm prime lens and offers higher dynamic range and resolution.
2. An incredible 46-minute battery life: That means — per battery charge — you can achieve a max flight distance of 30 km.
3. Improved sense and avoid tech: The DJI Mavic 3 is equipped with multiple vision sensors (six fish-eye vision sensors and two wide-angle sensors) with an extended sensing range to precisely sense obstacles in all directions, rather than just the front and back as was the case on previous DJI drones.
4. 28x Hybrid Zoom: If you need to see something far away — like, really, far away, use the DJI Mavic 3’s Tele Camera, which has a 162mm tele lens with 28x hybrid zoom (digital + optical) and an aperture of f/4.4. See my breakdown of the 28x Hybrid Zoom feature (including test footage) here.

DJI Mavic 3 sale info, and other DJI deals to know about
The DJI Mavic 3 is tough to find on a discount, and 7% is pretty solid savings. If you’ve had your eyes on the DJI Mavic 3, definitely jump on this deal now.
That said, there might be a reason to wait: if you’re holding out for another DJI drone. Rumor has it that DJI has a few new drones in it pipeline. While this is purely based on other Internet speculation, some drone enthusiasts speculate any (or all) of the following drones — a Mini 3, FPV Mini, and Inspire 3.
While the Mini drones have largely been positioned as entry-level drones (and the DJI Mavic 3 is certainly one for serious photographers), there could potentially be some crossover for drone photographers — especially those with a flexible budget. The DJI Mavic 3 arrived in late 2021 and is far from an “old drone,” but if you’re someone who is always holding out for the latest and greatest (and if the rumors are true), then it could make sense to hold out on this sale and potentially wait for what else DJI intends to drop in 2022.
Other DJI sales happening now
While the DJI Mavic 3 sale is arguably the most notable drone deal going on right now, there are a few other DJI discounts to be had. The DJI Mavic Mini Fly More Combo (usually $499) is going for $399 thanks to $100 instant savings offered through B&H Photo and Amazon. And there’s a fairly significant discount being offered on the DJI FPV Drone also at B&H Photo. For just $999, you can get the entire DJI FPV Drone Combo (including FPV Goggles V2), which means $300 instant savings off the usual $1,299 retail price.
