Tired of all drones looking the same? Considering more than 70% of the drones out there flying are made by DJI, odds are, they do look the same.
But even if you have a DJI drone, there’s an easy way to customize it with your own, personal flair.
DJI now offers a custom Mavic Mini DIY Creative Kit, and it’s just $15. The kit is simple in premise; a blank shell, with markers specially designed to ink on the shell material, which is 3M Scotchcal Film printed with UV print. The stickers are cut to fit your Mavic Mini exactly.
For $15, you get six Mavic Mini skins, five pens (red, blue, yellow, orange and green), and 6 cleaning wipes. The DJI Mavic Mini, released near the end of 2019, is DJI’s tiniest drone yet, weighing in at 249 grams. (DJI is affiliated with the 80 gram Tello drone, though it’s officially made by Ryze Technology but uses DJI equipment. That drone, which costs less than $100, is focused on teaching kids the basics of programming.) The Mavic Mini has a decent camera, but is designed mostly for drone-curious newbies, looking for a low-cost, high-quality gateway to drones.
