DJI Christmas 2019 sale

DJI Christmas 2019 sale is here with deals on Mavic 2 Pro, Osmo and more

Christmas is not far away, and if you’ve been procrastinating on your Christmas shopping, you’re in luck. The DJI Christmas 2019 sale is here, with deals on items including the Osmo Pocket, Osmo Action, Mavic 2 Pro, DJI FPV Experience Combo and more.

The sales are running on DJI’s own shop. Plus, the DJI Shop offers free shipping.

Interestingly, many of this year’s deals mirror the same pricing as was offered during the DJI Black Friday 2019 sale. So if you opted to skip out on the Black Friday madness, you didn’t really have any reason for FOMO. In fact, some deals, including the sale prices for the Osmo Pocket, Osmo Action and Mavic 2 Pro, are exactly the same.

But there are some new deals too, including the Osmo Mobile as well as the Ronin-SC, both amazing gifts for people who love filming of all kinds, not just with drones.

Here are the deals for this year’s DJI Christmas 2019 sale:

Among the standouts of the sale:

Tello drone DJI Christmas 2019 Sale

Tello drone

If you’re looking for a drone for kids or you’re a beginner and the Mavic Mini is out of your budget, then check out the Tello. It’s actually not made by DJI — it just uses their parts — but it’s endorsed by DJI (and even sold on DJI’s shop). STEM classrooms love it, not just for teaching kids how to fly, but how to code, too.

The Tello was on sale on Black Friday for $69 vs. $79 (meaning you would have saved $30, vs. $20) but aside from that sale, this is otherwise the lowest price I’ve seen.

The same exact $79 offer is also running on Amazon. It may make sense to purchase it there, as you’ll also get free shipping and, if you hold the Amazon Prime Rewards credit card, you’ll earn an additional 5% cash back (about $4).

Price: $79 from DJI (before Jan. 1), otherwise $99 or $79 from Amazon

Mavic 2 Pro DJI Christmas Sale 2019

Mavic 2 Pro

The DJI Mavic 2 Pro was designed and built in partnership with cameramaker Hasselblad after DJI acquired the company two years ago. Of course, it has an incredibly high-quality, all-new Hasselblad L1D-20c camera. It’s one of the latest in DJI’s Mavic line of drones, and it’s by far the best (the Mavic Mini is DJI’s newest drone, but most serious drone pilots will skip that in favor of the Mavic 2 Pro).

Price: $1,379 on (usually $1,729) or $1,787 on B&H Photo for Fly More Combo Kit, which comes with extra batteries, memory cards and more (usually $2,137.99)

DJI Osmo Action DJI Christmas Sale 2019

Osmo Action

While I’m a big fan of the new GoPro, DJI offers its own action camera that’s a worthy competitor, called the DJI Osmo Action. And it’ a worth competitor. The DJI Osmo Action is a waterproof camera shooting 4K/60fps 100Mbps video, dual screens, and EIS.

If most of your other gear is DJI, then it makes sense to stick with the DJI family rather than get a new piece of hardware from a different company.

Price: $279 on (usually $379) or $279 on B&H Photo (usually $379)

DJI Osmo Pocket DJI Christmas 2019 sale

Osmo Pocket

With a 1/2.3-inch sensor, the DJI Osmo Pocket puts incredibly high-quality video into a pocket-size camera. Whether or not you’re a drone pilot, the Osmo can provide a cinematic, smooth look with its 3-axis gimbal stabilized handheld camera on the ground. I’ve seen people use this in the gym even! And yes, it literally fits in your pocket.

Price:  $309 on (usually $399) or $309 on B&H Photo (usually $399)

The sale runs between now and Jan. 1, 2020 at 11:59 p.m. That’s great news if Santa gave you the golden gift of cold, hard cash this Christmas. What a fantastic way to spend that Christmas money!
