I went to the DJI Store in Hong Kong! Here’s a photo tour of what’s inside
I FINALLY got a chance to visit the DJI Flagship Store in Hong Kong.
The10,000 square-feet store located in the Causeway Bay area of Hong Kong island.
The store has a very “Apple Store aesthetic” with mostly white walls, clean design and a sleek, minimalist look.
The building is three floors. The ground floor has consumer-focused gear, like the Phantom, Spark and Mavic line of drones. The next floor has more enterprise-focused drones, as well as fun interactive spots like the SkyPixel gallery and a flight simulator. On the top floor, there’s a whole area to dedicated to technical support, as well as an entire meeting room to hold events and presentations.
There are plenty of display cases to show off DJI’s consumer and enterprise products.
You’ll also find products that are hard to find, like these awesome DJI phone cases.
There’s also a flying cage that extends up multiple floors so drones can buzz throughout the store. When we were there, we got to see the new(ish) Phantom 4 Pro Obsidian in the cage.
The store is also an experience, with a virtual drone simulator you can try out.
You won’t leave without some inspiration, as one of the floor includes a photo gallery of some of the best images from the SkyPixel drone photography community.
One of the coolest features of the building is something you probably won’t even realize while in the store. The building façade has an animated display showing the drones projected on the side of the wall. This can best be viewed on the Kowloon side of Hong Kong across the harbor from Causeway Bay, where the DJI store is located.
Thanks so much to DJI’s Rachel for the amazing tour!
