The best drone deal so far for Amazon Prime Day 2020

Amazon Prime Day 2020 is happening this upcoming week, and while most of the deals are under wraps, here’s one you should know to expect. The best drone deal so far for Amazon Prime Day 2020 is…

DJI Mavic Mini The Drone Girl Sally French
Sally French, The Drone Girl, reviews the DJI Mavic Mini drone in Hawaii.

The DJI Mavic Mini Fly More Combo: For the first time ever, the DJI Mavic Mini Fly More Combo is on on sale. The Mavic Mini is easily DJI’s most accessible drone to date given its small size and ease of flying. It just got more accessible than ever on the wallet too.

While the tiny yet powerful drone used to sell for $399 alone, you can now purchase the entire Mavic Mini Fly More Combo for just $399 (normally $499). That’s a big-time, $100 savings (yes, 20% off) to get tons of extras including a two-way charging hub, three batteries, three sets of extra propellers and a carrying case. Check out my review of the DJI Mavic Mini; I just love this tiny little drone, especially for first-time drone pilots!

The DJI Mavic Mini will be on sale between Oct. 13 and 14.

How to shop Amazon Prime Day 2020, even if you’re not an Amazon Prime member

While the 2020 Amazon Prime Day deals are only available for Amazon Prime members, you can still get in on the deals as it’s actually quite easy to become a member. Simply sign up for an Amazon Prime 30-day free trial. Just remember to cancel your membership after your Prime Day purchase if you don’t intend to keep your membership (and you don’t want to pay the Amazon Prime membership fee).

Everything else you need to know about Amazon Prime Day 2020

Prime Day begins at midnight Pacific Time, (or 3 a.m. Eastern Time) on Tuesday, Oct. 13, and runs through Wednesday October 14. The dates deviate from the usual summer shopping event (the delay is largely due to coronavirus).

One more pro-tip: Even though Amazon is having its big sale, competitors like Best Buy, Target and Walmart are also trying to get in on the shopping bonanza with their own sales. Don’t be afraid to comparison shop. In fact, last year DJI hosted its own “Super Sale” to compete with Prime Day, so be on the lookout for that.

Ever since the Mavic Air 2 came out I have wanted it but now I am anxiously awaiting to see the Mavic mini 2.
I know they are two different classes of drones but I may just settle for the mini 2.
I definitely want an osmo pocket 2.
    Love your newsletter, Sally.
